And now, MedStar can save you from financial trauma, too. Chose one of the two types of MedStar Saver memberships below to not only shield yourself and your loved ones from out-of-pocket costs that your insurance may not cover, but enroll in MedStar On Demand services, providing you and your family enhanced services, such as 24/7 access to unscheduled visits by a MedStar specially trained Community Paramedic.

A MedStarSaver membership is available to anyone* who lives or works in the MedStar service area. This membership can protect your entire household with unlimited emergency transports for the full year of your active membership. The membership covers anyone who permanently resides in your household, who is included on your application!

MedStarSaver+PLUS

A MedStarSaver membership is available to anyone who lives or works in the MedStar service area. In addition to the benefits of the basic MedStarSaver benefits, MedStarSaver+PLUS members get even more peace of mind through our MedStar-On-Demand service. Specially trained community paramedics are on-duty, 24/7 to respond to your unscheduled, urgent medical needs. Up to 2 of these visits annually are included in the membership fee, and additional visits are available at a $200 per visit fee. MedStarSaver+PLUS members also benefit from special options for care after a 911 medical call, such as enhanced treatment in place and referral options from the scene of a 911 call to prevent unnecessary emergency department visits. This enhanced program also covers all resident relatives in your household for $350 annually.
